The Woodblock Print Gallery, inspired by traditional woodblock printing, translates the art’s essence into architectural form. The design prioritizes interior experiences, blending solid walls with light-filled timber structures to create a narrative journey.

Contrasts of light and shadow, solid and void reflect the interplay of positive and negative spaces in woodblock prints. Pavilion-like zones offer intimate spaces for reflection, while transitions in materiality, scale, and lighting evoke a sense of drama and storytelling. Rooted in the relationship between process and narrative, the gallery curates an immersive experience, celebrating craftsmanship and creativity.

It offers visitors a journey through the timeless art of woodblock printing, fostering a connection to the artistry and the stories embedded in its creation.
