The Other Orchard

"The Other Orchard" reimagines Singapore’s Orchard Road as a vibrant public space, integrating social infrastructure with environmental resilience. The project addresses the site’s unique topography, working with its natural valleys to create flood-adaptive designs that celebrate water as a spectacle rather than a problem.

By introducing green spaces and connective interventions, it transforms the commercial strip into an inclusive urban playground for locals and tourists. The design emphasizes community, interaction, and the coexistence of urban and natural elements, fostering a renewed sense of belonging while reinvigorating the area’s social and economic vitality​.
